Ruder Finn is seeking an exceptional Account SupervisorinourHealthcare Practice.Asan Account Supervisor,you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, helping to manage and execute strategic communications programs for our healthcare clients to drive disease awareness, execute social and influencer programs, support data milestones and more. Your role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership and clients to create and execute campaigns that achieve clientobjectivesand management of junior team members. This individual will need to build strong client relationships and drive growth within an agencyenvironment andpossessa strong record of account management with exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities• Work with senior account leads tomanageday-to-day activities and ensureclient'sobjectivesand strategic vision are being met• Oversee multiple projects for multiple clients from conception to completion byanticipatingchallenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing workqualityand ensuring deadline and budget adherence• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of client's business, including its competitors and their products, public opinion/market trends,influencersand media trends, and understanding how those factors mayimpactclient's business• Contribute significantly to the research, planning, and development of comprehensive, contemporary, and strategic public relations campaigns.Employ innovative thinking to generate alternative strategies and options for campaigns and programs• Elevate problems to senior team members along with proposed solutions,solicitingtheir counsel when needed• Lead the development of core materials, including media strategy, press releases, key message documents, social mediacontentand communications plans• Ensurequality control of allcommunications/content• Showa high levelof responsiveness and communicate with clients,supervisorsand account teams in a clear andtimelymanner• Adapt communication style according to the audience and message being communicated• Promote two-way communication within the team and invite ideas and creativity from junior team members.Motivate team members to collaborate to reach shared objectives• Convey ideas clearly and confidently in client meetings and presentations• Set a good example for others to follow; bringnew ideasand embracedifferent waysof thinking• Provide direct,completeand actionable positive and constructive feedback to others• Delegate effectively, set clear expectations and deadlines• Build program budgets, track finances, create SOWs, and support forecasting while ensuring resources align with client needsQualifications• Minimum 4 years of experience within publicrelations/communications, healthcare or pharmaceutical experience is preferred• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations,biologyor a related field• Understanding ofproduct communications, patientadvocacyandthe data/regulatory processes (e.g., clinical trial phases, FDA approvals)• Experience with MLR process, using systems such as Veeva, is preferred• Effective written and verbal communication skills, presentationskillsand organizational skills• Preferred knowledge and experienceofpublic relations campaigns in key therapeutic areas including oncologyand ophthalmologyBenefits & More• As an Account Supervisor, you will receive a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity• You will also be able to enroll in our Health, Dental, Vision, company paid Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, as well as 401k (match) plan• Monthly allowance for cellphone, office equipment, etc.• Generous PTO policy with paid maternity/paternity leave• Professional learning and development opportunities• Workplace flexibility• On-site and off-site social gatheringsTheanticipatedsalary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $75,000 - $100,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications.In addition, a range of medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefitsalso areavailable by the company.
