Workers'Compensation Defense AttorneyAlbert & Mackenzie is a well-established and expanding California workers' compensation defense law firm with a strong statewide presence. Key Responsibilities:• Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings• Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents• Attend hearings and depositions• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients• Effectively manage time and follow Firm procedures• Collaborate with all levels both internal and external• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleaguesRequired Skills andQualifications:• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school• Active membership in the California State Bar• Workers' compensation defense experience highly preferred• Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions• Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPhysical Requirements:• Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer.• Sufficient dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment. • Ability to observe details, read printed materials, and view computer screens. • Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone. • Ability to move within an office environment and operate office equipment. • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 15 pounds as needed. • Ability to travel to court as required.
