Backend Engineer - Market Making
Arrakis aims to disrupt the current market-making industry by providing the infrastructure to enable every project in the world that wants to launch a token to benefit from non-custodial, trust-less, and automated on-chain market-making strategies. As one of our Backend Developers within market making, you will be further contributing to the cutting edge development of Arrakis, working with a very experienced and high performing team to create the future of DeFi. What you will achieve: Creation of new on-chain trading strategies Monitoring, tuning and improving market making performance across chains. Develop backend infrastructure for our market making operations Develop, refine and implement strategies and infrastructure for algorithmic liquidity provisioning for the major tokens of the industry Strong experience building and developing high frequency, ultra-low-latency applications 3+ years of experience with C++ / Rust / Solidity Good understanding of the financial market, order books, market making, arbitrage and/or markets microstructure A bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, physics, or similar field Experience working with SQL databases Experience with Google Cloud / AWS Experience working with containers such as Docker / Kubernetes Awareness of security principles for critical finance applications, both on and off-chain. Nice to have: Previous automated market making experience and experience with Uniswap Experience building your own trading bot CEX / DEX arbitrage experience Experience dealing with low level networking advantageous (TCP/IP, UDP, networking in the cloud, packet decoding, latency) Passionate about contributing / researching cutting edge DeFi technologies.
