Billing/Medical Coder - Familiar with Florida's HB 837 tort reform

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately coding billing pricing to ensure compliance with all billing regulations. Duties • Review and analyze billing documentation to assign appropriate CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) codes • Ensure all coding aligns with Florida's HB 837 tort reform requirements to maintain compliance and avoid legal issues • Maintain detailed and organized records, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility for audits or reviews • Stay updated on changes in medical coding standards, billing regulations, and tort reform policies Requirements • Proven experience in medical billing and coding within a healthcare setting • Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG classifications, and ICD coding systems • Billing/Medical Coder with a strong understanding of Florida's HB 837 tort reform • Strong understanding of medical terminology, records management, and insurance claim processes • Experience working in OneDrive • Knowledge of CPT/billing compliance standards • Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise coding and billing accuracy Join us if you're eager to contribute your coding expertise in a lively environment that values accuracy, compliance, and continuous learning!
