Business Intelligence Developer (Only USC and GC)
Position: Mid-Senior Level Business Intelligence Developer Location: Remote (must be based in the US and attend meetings as per Eastern Time Zone) Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration. • Build and maintain BI reports and dashboards using SSRS, with the ability to adapt skills to modern, cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or similar) as business needs grow. • Manage data models and data warehouse structures to support accurate, scalable reporting. • Deliver ad hoc and self service reporting solutions that empower business stakeholders. • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across BI solutions. • Collaborate with analysts, developers, and QA teams in an agile environment to translate requirements into actionable BI deliverables. • Support releases with documentation, deployment scripts, and testing assistance. • Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting efficiency, and adoption of cloud based and AI enhanced BI practices. General Experience: • BE or BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred or relevant experience. • 3+ years of experience developing reports with SSRS or another enterprise BI/reporting tool. • 5+ years SQL Server experience (2017+ preferred), with strong skills in query design, optimization, and troubleshooting. • Experience using Git or similar version control tools in collaborative development environments. • Practical experience with ETL/ELT development and data warehouse architecture. • Experience working with large databases and BI projects in agile environments. • Proven ability to develop dashboards and analytics using modern, cloud based BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, QuickSight, or similar). • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Preferred Experience: • Experience applying data visualization best practices and advanced analytics techniques. • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or BigQuery. • Hands on exposure to cloud based ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or similar).
