Chief Finance Officer (CFO),Our client is a global advertising services company. They are on a mission to bring fully transparent, value-driven advertising to the mobile world. They are looking for a senior Finance executive to manage the Europe region. RequirementsJob RequirementsStrategy, Planning and ManagementAssess and evaluate the financial performance of the company about long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts. Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information.Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion. Recruit, interview and hire finance, accounting and payroll staff as required. Implement policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate by the senior leadership team. Financial Analysis, Budgeting and ForecastingPrepare and present monthly financial reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division, and weekly cash flow by division. Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.Develop and maintain a monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget. Manage financial planning and analysis department. Supervise creation of reports, software implementation and tools for budgeting and forecasting. Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and OperationsSupervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases, and financial software. Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise company financial staff.Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data. Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, as well as filing of all local, state, and federal tax returnsReview all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead bolthires allocation. Serve as a key point of contact for external auditorsFinance and Accounting Team ManagementMentor and develop a team, managing work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.Guide larger, cross-divisional teams outside of the direct span of control within the three main company divisions. Candidate RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferredCPA RequiredBackground in Big 4 Public AccountingSenior level experience in accounting or finance positionsOutstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting. “Hands-On” ERP Systems Experience – SAP, JD Edwards, or PeopleSoft experience preferredOutstanding communication and presentation skills with fluency in EnglishDemonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate othersExcellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skillsSignificant experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.Experience working with Adtech, gaming companiesERP - we use Oracle Netsuite as our main ERPExperience working with transatlantic companies and businessesExperience in working with US (C-Corp) companies.
