Position: Clinical Laboratory Analyst, GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED Overview Our client is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Analyst to join their Clinicals team to deliver clinical support for R&D projects of consumer diagnostic products around reproductive health in a regulated and GCP and GLP compliant environment on a Full-Time, Permanent basis. Our client is a world leader in the research, design and supply of advanced consumer diagnostic products. Their brand is recognised in the world as providing accurate home pregnancy and fertility monitoring tests. They are looking for a Scientist that can deliver clinical support for their projects and work both independently and within a team supporting the day-to-day preparation and processing of samples for the Clinical Laboratory. Alongside several others in the team, you will be responsible for the management of samples and the biobank. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting analysis of clinical samples and reporting test results to the stakeholders and will be required to facilitate the development and implementation of test methods for business needs. Working flexibly across the R&D department, you will primarily be required to operate in the Clinical Laboratory. Responsibilities • Support the day-to-day preparation and processing of clinical samples for the Clinical Laboratory. • Contribute to management of samples and the biobank, including documentation and traceability. • Conduct analysis of clinical samples and report test results to stakeholders. • Facilitate development and implementation of test methods to meet business needs. Qualifications • Degree or above in Life Science / Science related discipline (e.g., Biology, Biomedical, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Material). • Highly organized with good attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills; able to perform ad-hoc and routine laboratory procedures. • Good communication skills, both written and verbal; computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and experience with a Laboratory Information Management system. • An understanding of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice); previous training in both is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
