• * Must be able to clear background check (Public Trust)We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the cloud design and delivery of a hybrid cloud solution leveraging VMware infrastructure and public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). This role is critical in enabling a scalable, secure, and high-performance landscape that integrates on-premises systems with cloud-native services. Key responsibilities include collaborating with enterprise architects, functional and technical teams, infrastructure engineers, and cloud service providers to ensure the solution meets business and technical requirements.The architect will also lead efforts in automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and integration with monitoring, security, and identity management systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in, cloud infrastructure, and VMware technologies such as vSphere, NSX, and vSAN. Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks is essential. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as the Cloud Architect will serve as a technical advisor to stakeholders and ensure successful delivery in a mission-critical environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Architecture Design & Planning – 30%Lead the design of the hybrid cloud architecture for SAP, integrating VMware-based on-prem infrastructure withpublic cloud platforms. Define technical standards, deployment models, and scalability strategies. 2. SAP Infrastructure Implementation – 25%Oversee the deployment and configuration of the infrastructure needed for the SAP systems and ensure that itmeets performance needs3. Hybrid Cloud Integration & Connectivity – 20%Design and implement secure, high-performance connectivity between on-premises VMware environments andcloud services.Address networking, identity, and data flow requirements. 4. Security, Compliance & Governance – 15%Ensure the architecture adheres to enterprise security policies and regulatory standards. Implement controls foraccess, encryption, monitoring, and compliance reporting. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation – 10%Work closely with enterprise architects, SAP teams, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders.
