Community Service/Reading-Math Tutor
Math Tutor will report to the financial aid or student affairs representative assigned. The Community Service/Reading-Math Tutor will be responsible for one or more of the following activities: • Performing family literacy activities in a family literacy project that provides services to families with preschool age children or elementary school children • Serving as a reading tutor for children who are preschool age or are in elementary school • Providing math tutoring assistance to elementary school age children through ninth grade I understand that as a FWS student I must: • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (minimum 2.0 GPA) and at least 80% attendance.Individual departments may set a higher standard. The requirements for this agreement are: • 2.0 minimum GPA 80% attendance • Ensure that my FWS work does not interfere with class attendance. I may not work on days that I am unable to attend scheduled classes or at times when I am scheduled to be in class. • Track my time accurately, and sign/submit my timecard to my supervisor each pay period. • Be attending at least half-time or actively enrolled for the next term.
