Content and Operations Assistant
THE ROLE This role exists to manage work related to content and operations at Little Justice Leaders. This is a great position for someone who is detail-oriented, committed to the highest-quality work, and cares deeply about justice, education, and kids. You will own the systems, documentation, and quality control that keeps Little Justice Leaders running smoothly. WHAT YOU WILL DO Operations and admin support • Manage customer support, including messages, emails, and phone calls. • Support basic reporting and analytics. • Track member and school data. • Organize files and spreadsheets. • Create and maintain SOPs for recurring tasks. • Manage member renewals, cancellations, and failed payments. • Follow up with schools, partners, and members. • Draft proposals, send invoices, and schedule logistics. Curriculum and program support • Create and quality-check educational resources. • Communicate and meet with our schools and members. • Manage, plan, and execute virtual events. • Build and maintain relationships with collaborators. • Help build onboarding flows and resources for new members and schools. • Ensure resources work for different learners and families. Content support and editing • Draft emails, captions, and content in our brand voice. • Proofread content for clarity, tone, and alignment with our values. • Oversee and support content collaborations. • Update and manage email automations. Publishing and management • Manage and support our content creation team. • Plan, create, edit, format, and post content across platforms. • Repurpose content across platforms. • Identify opportunities to improve our content. • Organize and maintain a content calendar. Tech support • Utilize technology and software to help improve our workflows and efficiency. • Use tools like Canva, Descript, Google Drive, Kajabi, and more to manage our systems. • Update our website and membership site regularly. • Learn and adapt to new tools quickly. WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR You might be a good fit if: • You are excited to work for a very small organization with an important social mission. • You are passionate about social justice and keep up with social justice topics consistently. • You have experience in the fields of education, parenting, or otherwise working with kids. • You are extremely detail-oriented – to the point where a missed punctuation mark or improperly filed document will bother you until it’s fixed. • You can operate in a fast-moving environment and adhere to deadlines while producing high-quality work. • You can work on your own with very little oversight, staying on task, meeting deadlines, and taking initiative even when nobody's watching. • You spot opportunities for improved processes and take initiative to come up with new ideas and workflows. • You understand the big picture of each project and the organization, but you are also able to drill deep into the details of each project and initiative to establish what needs to be done and when. • You love all things spreadsheets, tracking, and managing lots of information in an organized way. • You are an excellent writer and have great communication skills. • You’re known for coming up with creative ideas to solve problems and being resourceful. • You are highly organized, efficient, reliable, and consistent. • You know what great content looks like and why. • You are comfortable using and learning new digital and tech tools. • You want to help us reach even more kids with important social justice education!
