Our impact is backed by rigorous evidence. In a Johns Hopkins University randomized controlled trial, Air Reading students made measurable gains in reading achievement. Responsibilities• Lead online reading lessons through Zoom with groups of up to 4 students in 30–40 minute sessions. • Be available to teach during school and after-school hours (Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PST). • Use the provided curriculum, which includes detailed teaching steps and resources. • Track and communicate student progress with consistency. • Create an engaging, supportive classroom atmosphere that allows students to grow.Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or higher. • Comfort with Zoom and digital learning tools. • Authorization to work in the U.S. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)These qualities are a plus, but not essential. • Bilingual (Spanish/English). • Degree in education, English, literacy, or related areas. • Experience teaching phonics or early reading (K–3).
