Contract Specialist or Fractional Counsel for Customer PO Review & Negotiation
Description:We are a specialty manufacturing company in Washington State that receives frequent purchase orders and subcontract agreements from general contractors and commercial customers. We are looking for either a Contract Specialist or Fractional Counsel to help us review, revise, and negotiate contract terms. Scope of work:Review customer POs and subcontract documentsFlag risks, unfavorable clauses, and scope misalignmentsPrepare redlines or recommended revisionsCommunicate with customers to negotiate terms when appropriateHelp develop standard terms and a contract playbook for future useYou may be a great fit if you have:Experience in construction, manufacturing, or commercial contractingComfort negotiating directly with customers/GCsStrong understanding of indemnity, payment terms, warranties, insurance requirements, and flow-down clausesClear communication skills and a practical, business-focused mindset(Optional) Legal training or licensureEngagement details:Fractional / ongoingFlexible workloadIf you have a background in helping businesses navigate customer POs and negotiate fair terms, we’d like to hear from you.Apply tot his job
