Course Description: Information Systems Strategy & Governance (IT Management Program)Wake Forest University School ofProfessional Studies is seeking highly qualified candidates to develop and teach the Information Systems Strategy & Governance course in the online Master of IT Management program.The ideal candidate is a professional who understands the theory and practice of Information Systems Strategy and Governance, along with recent trends and innovations in the industry. This course will cover the creation and implementation of long-term plans for designing, delivering, and using organizational information systems to achieve strategic domain goals and objectives. Students will discuss resources to ensure alignment with and achievement of strategies, goals, and objectives. Students meet face-to-face in a virtual classroom environment weekly over an academic term, providing them the opportunity to reinforce coursework materials, apply academic concepts, and participate in focused discussions with faculty and colleagues.FacultyQualifications:• Master's degree in program field or related degree. Terminal degree preferred• 3+ years of experience in university-level teaching. Preferred applicants also will have a demonstrated ability to deliver graduate-level, online course experiences that are valued by industry. With the targeted audience for this program being adult students pursuing career growth, the University seeks to hire colleagues who are highly skilled in and/or highly attuned to adult learning best practices.• 5+ years industry experience.
