About the RoleWe are looking for a data-driven storyteller and visual strategist to elevate our Amazon brand presence. As our Amazon Creative & Content Strategy Manager, you will act as a key leader within our marketing organization, managing workflows between our US headquarters and our international content teams.You will not be required to execute the final graphic design (we have a dedicated design team for that). Instead, you will be the strategic brain behind the creative: conducting deep market research, defining our differentiation strategy, and writing technical briefs that guide our designers to create high-converting, compliant, and culturally relevant assets for the Western market. Key Responsibilities1. Visual Strategy & Creative Direction• Visual Merchandising: Define the visual hierarchy for Main Images, Infographics, and A+ Content. Ensure all assets align with modern Western aesthetic trends (minimalist, lifestyle-driven) and avoid "cluttered" design. • Mobile-First Optimization: Audit and structure content specifically for the mobile user experience (60%+ of traffic), ensuring legibility and impact on small screens. • Design Briefing: Translate marketing strategies into clear, technical creative briefs for the Graphic Design team, specifying composition, copy layout, model diversity, and emotional tone.2. Market Intelligence & Differentiation• Voice of Customer (VOC) Research: Go beyond Amazon reviews. Analyze Reddit threads, Facebook groups, and niche blogs to uncover hidden consumer pain points and emotional triggers. • Competitor Analysis: Deconstruct competitor listings to identify their weaknesses. Develop a "Unique Selling Proposition" (USP) strategy that visually highlights our product strengths where competitors fail. 3. Regulatory Collaboration & Content Guard railing• Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary bridge between the Creative/Marketing team and the Legal/Compliance department.Proactively consult with compliance officers during the ideation phase (before design begins) to ensure concepts are viable. • Digital & Packaging Consistency: Audit and align digital content (A+, listing copy) with physical product packaging and Instructions for Use (IFU) to ensure strict regulatory consistency. (e.g., ensuring claims on Amazon match the approved technical files). • Claims Substantiation: Work with the product and compliance teams to verify that all marketing claims (e.g., "Fastest," "#1," or “Best”) are supported by adequate technical documentation before publication.• Audit Readiness: Maintain an organized archive of approved creative assets and their corresponding legal approvals to streamline responses to potential regulatory inquiries or platform audits. 4. Data-Driven Optimization (CRO)• SEO & Persuasion: Write / Train the team to write compelling, native-standard and cultural understanding English copy for Titles, Bullets, and A+ text that balances high-volume keyword indexing with psychological sales persuasion. • A/B Testing: Lead the experimentation strategy using Amazon ManageYour Experiments (MYE) or PickFu or other survey platforms.Formulate hypotheses (e.g., "A lifestyle main image will improve CTR") and analyze results to iterate on creative. • Performance Diagnosis: Monitor Business Reports (Unit Session %, CTR). Diagnose whether underperformance is due to traffic issues (Main Image) or conversion issues (A+/Copy) and prescribe creative solutions. 5. Global Team Leadership & Process Management• Team Oversight: Directly manage and mentor US-based marketing support staff and functionally guide the workflows of our overseas content teams• Cross-Cultural Bridge: Act as the translator of "Western Strategy" into "Design Execution," ensuring clear communication and quality control across time zones.• Process Improvement: Build efficient SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to streamline the request-to-delivery pipeline between the strategy team and the production team. Qualifications• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Amazon Private Label management, E-commerce Content Strategy, or Digital Marketing. • Strategic Aesthetics: You possess a sophisticated eye for North American visual trends. You can instantly distinguish between premium brand imagery and generic "factory-style" graphics. • Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of Amazon’s A9 algorithm, A+ Premium modules, Brand Story, and Storefront layouts.Proficiency with Amazon intelligence tools (e.g., Jungle Scout, Helium 10) to perform keyword research and competitor analysis• Technical Communication: Ability to communicate visual concepts to non-native English speaking design teams via wireframes or highly detailed briefs. • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with rules regarding health claims, supplements, and prohibited keywords on Amazon. • Regulated IndustryExperience: Experience managing content for "Gatekept" or regulated categories (e.g., Medical Devices, OTC Medication, Supplements, or Baby/Safety products) is highly preferred.You understand the difference between "marketing fluff" and "non-compliant health claims• Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Proven ability to bridge the gap between Western marketing expectations and international production/design teams, ensuring the final output meets the target market's cultural standards. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)• AI Workflow: Experience using tools like ChatGPT for research synthesis or Midjourney for storyboarding concepts. • Basic Design Literacy: Proficiency in Canva or Photoshop to create rough mockups/wireframes to communicate ideas to designers.• Video Strategy: Experience writing scripts or storyboards for short-form product videos (TikTok style or Amazon Video).
