Company Description The New York Auto Museum Experience Center, a proposed 200,000+ square-foot facility in Manhattan, offers a unique and modern automotive museum experience. With a rooftop patio and partial glass floors, visitors can explore vehicles from above and below. Designed to challenge traditional perceptions of automotive museums, the center allows guests to sit in up to 50 historical vehicles at any time, creating an engaging and interactive experience. Role Description This is a part-time remote volunteer donation based role for a CTO/CIO Committee member at the New York Auto Museum Experience Center 4-6hr per mpnth. The key responsibilities include developing and implementing IT strategies to support the museum's operations, overseeing software development, and ensuring the alignment of technology initiatives with the organization's vision. The candidate will manage IT projects, design architectural frameworks, and lead product development to enhance the visitor experience and the museum's technological capabilities. Qualifications • Expertise in Software Development and Product Development to create innovative solutions. • Strong skills in IT Strategy and Architecture for aligning technology initiatives with organizational objectives. • Experience in Project Management to oversee and deliver technology initiatives effectively. • Proven leadership abilities and experience working with technical and non-technical teams. • Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies and trends in the museum or experience center sector is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; an advanced degree is desirable.
