Key Responsibilities As a Customer Administrative Specialist, Government, you will be responsible for: * Making outbound sales contact with customers at the state and local levels to promote blithequark's products and services * Pursuing sales leads and identifying new business opportunities * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records, including contact information, sales history, and account activity * Developing and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty * Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to achieve business objectives * Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth * Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets * Providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: * Basic functional knowledge and skills in selling and account management, including: + Understanding of sales principles and techniques + Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers + Knowledge of sales metrics and performance indicators * Ability to develop an understanding of key business drivers and apply this knowledge to work, including: + Understanding of market trends and competitor activity + Knowledge of blithequark's products and services + Ability to analyze sales data and market trends * Proficiency in the use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems, including: + Ability to navigate and utilize Salesforce to manage customer relationships and sales activity + Knowledge of other internal systems, including customer service and marketing tools * Ability to present information in an appropriate style and make technical information clear, including: + Effective communication and presentation skills + Ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Ability to persuade others/clients in standard situations, including: + Strong negotiation and influencing skills + Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers Essential Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field * Proven track record of success in sales and customer administration * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * Proficiency in Salesforce and other internal operational systems * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in the government sector or with government customers * Knowledge of blithequark's products and services * Certification in sales or account management * Experience with data analysis and market research * Fluency in a second language Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * Proficiency in Salesforce and other internal operational systems * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong negotiation and influencing skills * Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
