Job Description Are you a highly analytical individual with a passion for uncovering hidden patterns and turning data into actionable insights? Econet Wireless Zimbabwe is seeking a talented and motivated Customer Data Insight Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in understanding our vast customer base, their behaviors, preferences, and needs. You will dive deep into large datasets, employing advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights that will inform our product development, marketing strategies, customer retention initiatives, and overall business growth. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Sales, translating complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various customer touchpoints, including CRM, billing systems, network usage, and digital platforms. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into customer behavior, trends, segmentation, and lifecycle. • Identify key customer segments, understand their unique characteristics, and predict future behaviors or needs. • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, product performance, and customer service interactions to assess effectiveness and recommend optimizations. • Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to forecast customer churn, predict lifetime value, and identify opportunities for personalization. • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for business stakeholders through presentations and written reports. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, IT) to define data requirements, implement tracking mechanisms, and ensure data integrity. • Stay updated with industry best practices in data analytics, customer insights, and telecommunications trends to continuously enhance analytical capabilities. • Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights for new product launches, market entry, and competitive analysis. Required Skills • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. • Proven experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases. • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment. • Experience with statistical analysis and advanced Excel functions. Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in a quantitative field. • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation. • Previous experience in the telecommunications or mobile money industry. • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). • Experience with A/B testing and experimental design. • Understanding of customer lifecycle management and marketing analytics concepts.
