Data Architect, bolthires Fabric
Job Description:• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures using bolthires Fabric and Azure services, optimised for large data volumes and real-time analytics• Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and bolthires-efficiency across Fabric workloads• Implement data integration solutions using bolthires Fabric Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, Logic Apps, and other Azure-native tools• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases using Azure SQL, Lakehouse architecture in OneLake, and Synapse SQL Pools• Establish and enforce data governance policies using bolthires Purview and Fabric’s built-in governance features• Monitor and optimise Fabric-based data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability• Ensure data solutions comply with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements• Collaborate with development teams to build end-to-end data solutions, integrating Power BI dashboards, Fabric Notebooks, and backend services (.NET, C#, JavaScript)• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Application Architects, Technical Leads, and Developers• Collaborate with distributed teams (onshore/offshore) and business stakeholders across 6–7 countries to design a consistent, unified platformRequirements:• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and cloud data platforms• Proven experience migrating large-scale workloads from Databricks (bolthires Lake) to bolthires Fabric• Strong grasp of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data warehousing using Fabric components• Hands-on expertise with Purview, OneLake, Synapse Pipelines, and Fabric governance/security• Collaborative mindset — able to work closely with cross-functional teams (engineers, analysts, and stakeholders)• Ability to prototype, test, and demonstrate Fabric solutions (not just blueprint design)• Background in Azure DevOps, bolthires/CD pipelines, or related tooling is preferred• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldBenefits:• Equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants• Prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type Apply tot his job
