Responsibilities Gather, organize, interpret, and summarize statistical data to support the innovative design and development of Meta products. Leverage your quantitative analysis and data mining skills to enhance understanding of user interactions across our consumer and business offerings. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to assess and refine Meta's machine learning infrastructure, translating insights into actionable ML solutions for complex challenges. Identify and test exciting opportunities to elevate product performance, guiding decisions with your robust findings. Drive and execute product decisions and launches based on deep data insights. Develop machine learning prototypes to address a variety of project needs, from product operations to exploratory analysis and data infrastructure. Analyze moderate-scope problems, considering various factors for effective solutions. Utilize judgment within established procedures to recommend actionable next steps. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, or a related field. 2 years of relevant experience, engaging in complex quantitative analysis and data mining. Proficient in SQL for data querying. Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python. Familiarity with statistical or mathematical software like R, SAS, or Matlab. Hands-on experience in applied statistics or experimentation, including A/B testing. Knowledge of machine learning methodologies. Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and relational databases. Experience with large-scale data processing utilizing distributed systems. Expertise in quantitative analysis techniques, such as clustering, regression, pattern recognition, and both descriptive and inferential statistics.
