MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Database Administrator Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of DHS and OBIM.● Perform databse monitoring & tuning, migration, upgrades, backup & recovery, cloning, replication, hardening, security, and patching● Support critical ETL processes● Design and implement advanced database optimization strategies● Standardize and document procedures, automation scripts/playbooks, etc. ● Collaborate with O&M team and stakeholders to prioritize database work and deliver outcome-based solutions aligned with customer requirements. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
