Role Overview Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Due Diligence Analysts. This is not a traditional employment role. Due Diligence Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process. Once approved, Due Diligence Analysts: • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform • Gain access to active deal flow requiring diligence support • Support investors, fund managers, and operators throughout transaction review processes • Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score Certification tiers: Senior Due Diligence Analyst · Lead Due Diligence Analyst · Due Diligence Analyst / Associate Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Due Diligence Analyst • Rating Score: 90–100 • Pay: $150–200/hour • Typical Background: Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of diligence or transaction experience Lead Due Diligence Analyst • Rating Score: 80–89 • Pay: $100–150/hour • Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of due diligence, deal execution, or financial analysis experience Due Diligence Analyst / Associate • Rating Score: 60–79 • Pay: $50–100/hour • Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical, accounting, or financial modeling fundamentals What You’ll Do (Approval-Based) Depending on certification approvals, Due Diligence Analysts may be engaged to support: Financial & Transaction Due Diligence • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis and review support • Financial statement analysis and normalization • Review of management forecasts and assumptions • Identification of key transaction risks, red flags, and data gaps • Diligence findings summaries for investment committees Commercial & Operational Diligence • Market, customer, and revenue analysis • Cost structure and margin sustainability review • Operational risk and scalability assessment • Vendor, customer, and concentration analysis Financial Analysis & Valuation Support • Review and validation of 3-statement financial models • Commercial real estate underwriting review (as applicable) • DCF and LBO analysis to support investment decisions • Sensitivity, downside, and scenario analysis • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis • Football field valuation summaries Investment Materials Support • Investment memo and diligence section support • Data room review and issue tracking • Diligence checklists and workflow coordination Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are approved. Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated performance—not tenure.How Analysts Start Earning • Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training • Receive category-specific approvals (Due Diligence, Financial Review, Valuation) • Get verified on the platform • Begin earning immediately through hourly diligence engagements and live deal work No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors. Certification & Eligibility To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following: • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent) Analyst Rating Score Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines: • Platform visibility • Approved diligence and analysis categories • Recommended hourly compensation Compensation & Deal Terms • Analysts are independent contractors, not employees • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction • Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues Compliance Notice Due Diligence Analysts do not: • Provide investment advice • Solicit securities • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
