Ecommerce Associate
Description:Job description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Ecommerce Project Manager to lead the development and ongoing optimization of Shopify storefronts. This role bridges creative, technical, and operational teams to deliver seamless shopping experiences, high-performing product launches, and efficient store operations for a wide range of artist and brand clients. Key Responsibilities:• Build and launch new Shopify storefronts from concept to go-live — including theme selection, configuration, navigation structure, homepage layout, and full app integrations.• Collaborate with Shopify Support and internal teams to resolve setup or configuration issues efficiently, ensuring smooth and stable store launches. • Guide stakeholders on Shopify build best practices, advising on structure, conversion optimization, and user experience enhancements. • Customize and optimize front-end code using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript to align with brand-specific design and UX goals. • Integrate and configure third-party tools such as ShipHero, Klaviyo,Advanced Shipping Rules, Shopify Flow, Postscript, Zapier, Make.com, Profit Bundles, Single Music, Gorgias, Loop Returns, AfterShip, and Matrixify.• Manage domain and DNS setup, including CNAME records, verified sending domains, subdomains, and redirects. • Assist in product setup and bulk uploads via CSVs, metafields, and dynamic content (e.g., music releases, merch bundles, and size charts). • Create promotional landing pages, timed product drops, and seasonal campaigns, ensuring consistent branding and functionality• Configure shipping logic, conditional rules, and carrier integrations using Shopify’s native settings and third-party apps.• Perform store audits and QA testing to identify and resolve UX issues, broken links, or performance bottlenecks. • Troubleshoot theme and app conflicts, collaborating with Shopify Support and development teams to implement long-term fixes. PreferredExperience:• Hands-on experience with Shopify Markets, Shopify Collective, and multi-region store configurations. • Strong understanding of shipping logic, rates, and automation workflows. • Experience collaborating directly with Shopify Support or Partner Success teams.• Background in music, merchandise, or direct-to-consumer ecommerce is a plus.
