English Curriculum Textbook Writer (Preschool to IELTS Level)
EEC is developing a complete English curriculum series covering Preschool to IELTS preparation. We are looking for experienced English textbook writers to join our curriculum development team and help us create high-quality, engaging, and academically sound books that align with international standards (Cambridge-style framework). Writers will work closely with our curriculum director and team to produce content that includes lessons, exercises, assessments, and teacher notes. You will be assigned to write specific levels or subjects (Grammar, Reading, Vocabulary, Writing, Listening, Phonics, or Maths).Each writer may handle one or more subjects depending on expertise. Develop lesson content and student activities based on provided framework2. Write teacher notes, learning objectives, and outcomes per unit3. Create practice exercises, quizzes, and short assessments4. Ensure content progression aligns with EEC’s level roadmap5.Collaborate with editor and academic lead for revisions and consistencyRequirements:- Minimum 3+ years of experience in English curriculum writing or textbook development- Degree in Education, English, Linguistics, TESOL, or related field- Familiarity with Cambridge / CEFR / international curriculum standards- Strong understanding of ESL or EFL teaching principles- Excellent grammar, writing, and educational tone- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearlyContract Terms:• Freelance, per-project basis• Each project phase:Phase 1: Preschool – Primary 3Phase 2: Primary 4 – Secondary 3Phase 3: Intermediate –Advanced – IELTS• Writers who perform well may be invited to continue across all three phases.• You will be required to sign a content ownership agreement (all materials belong 100% to EEC).
