EPMO Resource, Finance and Project ManagerJOB RESPONSIBILITIESSummary:The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Resource, Finance and Project Manager plays a critical role in driving enterprise execution by managing project resources, overseeing financial performance including ROI, cost control and forecasting, administering Microsoft Project Web App, and improving maturity. This role ensures transparency, consistency, and alignment across business units, enabling decision-making through disciplined processes and data-driven insights.The ideal candidate will bring experience in resource management, finance, project management and administration of a project management tool. They should have experience managing a range of projects for an Enterprise Project Management Office. The position plays a key role in developing financial framework, advancing EPMO maturity, driving adoption of project management best practices, and fostering cross-functional collaboration using the Project Management tool and PMBOK best practices. Essential Responsibilities include the following.Other duties and special projects may be assigned. • Financial Oversight & Strategy:• Build, track, and report on budgets, forecasts, actuals, and ROI to ensure financial accountability across the EPMO. • Partner with finance teams to refine cost management strategies and develop financial performance metrics. • Ensure projects adhere to financial guidelines and deliver measurable value against business objectives. • Resource Optimization & Planning:• Manage and mature resource planning, workforce allocation, and utilization across concurrent projects and departments.• Implement predictive resource models to proactively address capacity constraints and business needs. • Collaborate with project managers and leadership to define and execute staffing strategies, balancing operational efficiency with project success. • Enterprise Project Execution & Governance:• Oversee the execution, tracking, and delivery of enterprise projects aligned to financial, strategic, and operational goals. • Lead the financial risk assessment of project portfolios, proactively identifying areas for improvement.• Ensure all projects comply with EPMO governance standards, resource allocation models, and financial accountability frameworks. • Project Systems Management:• Administer and enhance Microsoft Project Web App for improved reporting, tracking, and resource planning. • Establish standardized financial metrics within the project management tool to enhance visibility into cost drivers. • Manage IT and business projects, including those within distribution, operations, and enterprise transformations. • Stakeholder Engagement & Process Maturity:• Support the continued development and standardization of EPMO processes and methodologies to improve delivery consistency.• Facilitate project intake and prioritization sessions, ensuring transparent and informed decision-making. • Lead change management efforts to integrate financial best practices into project governance models. • EPMO Growth & Operational Excellence:• Collaborate with the EPMO Director to advance maturity, strengthen financial reporting mechanisms, and drive adoption of best practices. • Develop tools and templates that enhance resource and financial transparency, ensuring teams operate efficiently within defined budgets.• Foster strong working relationships across business units, ensuring alignment between resource strategy, financial oversight, and project execution. QUALIFICATIONSRequiredQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • 7+ years of project management experience, including finance, resource planning, and enterprise project management system ownership. • Strong expertise in project financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and variance reporting.• Experience implementing PMBOK-aligned processes to enhance project and financial accountability. • Expertise in enterprise resource planning, capacity management, and portfolio financial control. • Proficiency in Microsoft Project Web App and other project planning tools for project, financial reporting and resource tracking. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, and Visio. • PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred.• Experience working with virtual business and IT teams, with knowledge of SDLC and Agile frameworks. DesiredQualifications:• PMP Certification (PMO)® or equivalent. • Resource Management CertifiedProfessional (RMCP)®. • Experience with change management and financial governance within project portfolios. • Knowledge of enterprise financial reporting and cost-tracking methodologies. For U.S. CandidatesCompensation RangeThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually.This represents the good-faith estimate of the compensation range at the time of posting. Actual pay will be based on job-related factors, which may include:• Geographic location• Relevant experience• Education and qualifications• Job-related skills• Internal equity considerations• Applicable minimum wage lawsThis position may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
