About the DepartmentThe Tax Compliance Bureau, Field Audit Division within the Michigan Department of Treasury, is seeking to recruit an innovative, collaborative and dynamic individual to. This Field Audit Division Administrative Assistant position serves as an administrative assistant supporting the State Division Administrator and acts as the division office liaison. Position will provide secretarial and executive support activities to the State Division Administrator 17. The position will administratively support division staff and will perform a variety of tasks which are highly confidential and sensitive in nature.Other responsibilities include serving as a liaison to other agencies and executive staff on meetings and committees, coordinate and maintain the calendar for the State Division Administrator, and research, compile and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual division logs for the Administrator's review. Position DutiesEducationEducational level typically acquired through completion of high school.ExperienceFive years of administrative support experience where use of a personal computer to prepare correspondence, reports, charts, etc., or to enter/retrieve/update information is an essential part of the work, including two years equivalent to advanced (8) level administrative support work, Secretary E8, or Legal Secretary E8; or, one year equivalent to a Secretary 9, Legal Secretary 9, orSenior Executive Management Assistant 9.
