Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Agency Sales Manager to join our team at arenaflex. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing key business relationships with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and corporate clients. Your expertise and judgment will be crucial in negotiating contracts, analyzing revenue, and identifying opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert for TMC business at arenaflex, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders. Build and maintain key business relationships with TMC accounts focused on business travel, leveraging your knowledge and expertise to drive revenue growth. Exercise extensive judgment to manage pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements, with the goal of achieving the highest market share and yield possible. Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop contract-compliant agreements. Analyze revenue, limits, and contract performance to ensure objective compliance and profitability. Develop marketing-related promotions to support sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business development teams. Manage the setup of TMC agency accounts through sales calls, negotiating agreements, and coordinating with pricing teams. Plan business development and lead the development of other agency accounts, collaborating with revenue management teams to ensure exceptional entries are filed accordingly and drive expected revenue per the specifics of the agreement. Monitor reporting and metrics to identify trends and develop a strategy to ensure the company is positioned appropriately in the market. Monitor revenue, commissions, and contract performance to ensure maximum revenues and sales objectives are achieved. Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex. Prepare and execute a local sales plan in accordance with corporate sales targets, ensuring arenaflex is strategically positioned among its competitors and leveraging its position in the marketplace. Essential Qualifications 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail service environment or related area. Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Prior airline experience. Prior exposure to and use of travel industry data reporting sources like Curve and Crystal. Proficiency with CRM tool Salesforce. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results to the greatest advantage of the company. Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with different teams and workgroups. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to conflicts caused by competing needs.
