Job Overview As a Call Center Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work under direct supervision and be expected to follow established guidelines and procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include processing patient enrollment, handling patient medication requests, and investigating missing prescription data. You will also be required to communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide support. Key Responsibilities: Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter data into the system Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing Investigate missing prescription data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) Resolve data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues Provide support to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary Obtain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active professional license or certification Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, and completing forms online Intermediate level keyboarding skills, with a minimum of 25 words per minute (WPM) and the ability to type by memory Effective written and verbal communication skills Minimum of 18 years old Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment At least 1.5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state, as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills, with a minimum of 35 WPM and the ability to type by memory Fluency in Spanish and English Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and other tasks Ability to work under direct supervision and follow established guidelines and procedures Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
