As a remote customer service representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our borrowers. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Responding to incoming borrower calls, chats, and making outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner * Counseling and informing borrowers of their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility, taking payments and updating the borrower's account in an efficient manner * Locating needed information and minimizing the time borrowers would be put on hold * Maintaining the security and privacy of the borrower to protect both the borrower and our partners * Working an 8-hour shift with a one 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks * Utilizing strong computer skills to navigate our systems and provide exceptional customer service **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college or bachelor's degree preferred * The ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment * A Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check * Residency in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area * Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills * The ability to multitask (type while talking) * Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord * A quiet and distraction-free location in your home **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: * Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a call center environment * Familiarity with federal student loan programs and regulations * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong organizational and time management skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
