Our team is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of Maryland consumers, and we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Remote Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing information and assistance to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking information, enrollment assistance, and other services related to the MHC. You will utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other State systems to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to Maryland consumers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Assist individuals with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, as well as services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange * Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and CRM software and other State systems to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues * Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality and productivity standards * Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on MHC policies and procedures **Essential Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and resolve issues * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with Medicaid and/or Qualified Health Plans * Familiarity with State eligibility and enrollment portals and CRM software * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and resolve issues * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to Maryland consumers **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
