With comprehensive training and a supportive team, you'll be equipped to provide exceptional customer service and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. **The Opportunity** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing expertise and support to patients and healthcare providers through phone-based interactions. You'll work independently, using your problem-solving skills to resolve a wide range of inquiries and concerns. With a focus on delivering high-quality patient experiences, you'll be an integral part of our team's efforts to improve health outcomes and advance health equity. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer inbound phone calls and provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers * Review patient liability questions and concerns, and provide clear guidance and support * Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed * Perform referral coordination, including completing Open Referrals and/or referral tracking queue * Work all assigned tasks timely and accurately, documenting all actions in the system * Register new patients, verify patient demographics and health insurance, and update patient information in designated databases * Respond to general information requests and/or inquiries from patients, physicians, medical offices, and other callers * Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and healthcare providers * Process all work-related responsibilities in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner **Required Qualifications** * High School Diploma or GED * Must be 18 years of age or older * 1+ years of experience in a call center answering customer service inquiries regarding healthcare * Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications * Ability to work any 8-hour work shift between the hours of 6:30am – 5:30pm PST, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday coverage as needed **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience using EPIC **Telecommuting Requirements** * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas, free from noise and distractions, and provides information privacy * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Soft Skills** * Time Management * Attention to Detail * Empathy * All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy **Compensation and Benefits** * Hourly range: $16.00 to $28.27 per hour (based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.) * Comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility requirements) * Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment with a focus on career growth and development **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
