Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to work with our Transportation Analytics crew, assisting customers in navigating complex data sets to make informed decisions. As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work with large, messy, and disparate datasets, conducting ad-hoc analyses to inform critical business decisions. You will also develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges. Key Responsibilities Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to quickly inform essential business decisions Create ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table Develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges Engage with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis and establish credibility Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to share relevant information, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product teams on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks made for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier detection) Document your processes and share your expertise with your peers, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) Creativity with a User Experience basis to create impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience) Business operations fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause business problems, and a Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and scripting languages such as Python Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and quality Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
