Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team at our Carlisle, PA distribution center. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely input of time and production data into our Blue Chip computer system. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Accuracy : Input time and production data for all DC associates into Blue Chip computer systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. This includes summarizing production sheets, checking for errors, and reporting discrepancies. Production Reporting : Generate and distribute Control-Plus production reports to Management on a daily basis, providing insights into production performance and incentive dollar calculations. System Analysis and Troubleshooting : Analyze system output, identify erroneous data, and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and system efficiency. Filing and Record-Keeping : File paperwork in accordance with established procedures, rotating files periodically for storage and maintaining a well-organized filing system. Collaboration and Communication : Interface daily with DC Management and the Engineering team, and weekly with the Payroll staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous Clerical/Administrative Experience : A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role, with a focus on data entry, record-keeping, and reporting. 10-Key Experience : Fast and accurate 10-key skills, with the ability to input data efficiently and accurately. Good Math Skills : Basic math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data. Excellent Organizational Skills : The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment. Ability to Maintain Confidentiality : The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Good Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, management, and other stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Blue Chip System Experience : Previous experience working with the Blue Chip computer system, or similar data entry software.
