Job Overview The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for the daily input of time and production data into the Blue Chip computer system, generating production performance and incentive dollar calculations for all distribution center associates and management. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a 3rd shift environment, with the ability to train on 1st shift for the first month, and will be committed to delivering high-quality results in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Input time and production data for all distribution center associates into Blue Chip computer systems, including summarizing production sheets, checking for accuracy, and reporting errors. Translate DCIS data and calculate performances for each associate covered by the program, and calculate individual bonus dollars based on the associate's ability to perform against individual production standards. Generate and distribute production and incentive dollar reporting to distribution center management and payroll on a daily and weekly basis. Analyze system output and troubleshoot erroneous data to ensure accuracy and reliability. File paperwork in accordance with established procedures, rotating files periodically for storage, and perform other projects as assigned. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Previous clerical or administrative experience, with a strong background in data entry and record-keeping. 10-key experience, with fast and accurate typing skills, and good math skills. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience working with Blue Chip computer systems, or similar data entry software. Knowledge of distribution center operations and logistics. Experience working in a 3rd shift environment, or willingness to adapt to non-traditional working hours. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
