Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our clients receive timely and efficient service. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests into our system, meeting the required standards of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate. Efficiently navigate our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, ensuring that all tasks are completed within designated turnaround times. Differentiate between various claim types and follow established data entry guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify specific document types that require special handling and process them accordingly. Collaborate with other team members to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively, supporting additional workflows as needed. Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims and authorizations, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. Contribute to process improvements by identifying areas for efficiency gains and recommending solutions to management. Requirements and Qualifications To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in your work. Strong data entry and typing skills, with the ability to meet the required productivity standards. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and supportive attitude. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Previous experience in the insurance or healthcare industry, with knowledge of claims processing and authorization requests. Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems. Certifications or training in data entry, typing, or a related field.
