Typing in data provided directly from customers, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols. Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, utilizing your knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel. Verifying data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Updating existing data, ensuring that all information is current and relevant. Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested, providing support to other team members and stakeholders. Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation, protecting against data loss and system failures. Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Reporting and Collaboration You will report to a Data Manager or another senior data team member, who will provide guidance, support, and feedback on your performance. As a key member of the data team, you will collaborate with other professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our data management system, sharing knowledge, and best practices to achieve common goals. Requirements and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Fast typing skills, with a strong preference for knowledge of the touch typing system, enabling you to work efficiently and accurately. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, particularly MS Office Word and Excel, allowing you to create and manage complex documents and data sets. Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices, ensuring that you can troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Basic understanding of databases, enabling you to navigate and manage data with ease. Good command of English, both oral and written, and customer service skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders. Great attention to detail, ensuring that all data entry tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
