About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Evening Customer Care Associate to join our team. As a Customer Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing guidance, direction, and support to our valued members, helping them navigate the healthcare system and access the care they need. Key Responsibilities Answer a variety of incoming calls from members regarding their healthcare questions and other inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions to their needs and concerns. Build rapport with callers using a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience and fostering trust and loyalty. Verify and collect demographics, updating systems as necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Determine and execute the best resolution to assist members based on their needs or requests, connecting them to appropriate internal or external resources as required. Manage tasks with timely follow-up, interacting with members, providers, insurance carriers, and other vendors to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management, contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the organization. Essential Qualifications High School Degree or GED required, with an Associate's degree in business administration, liberal arts, public health, healthcare management, or a related field preferred. Customer Service experience preferred, with a strong focus on communication, problem-solving, and issue resolution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare systems and protocols. Knowledge of customer service software and technology, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse member populations. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive pay rate, with an hourly rate starting at $16.00 and a 10% rate differential for evening shifts. Work Schedule This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
