Policy regarding accurate dispensing throughout all applicable prescription dispensing activities. * Registering all related sales on assigned cash register, collecting and handling coins as required. * Taking customers to the OTC aisle when possible to assist in finding merchandise. * Handling telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. * Processing (correcting and resubmitting) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performing other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager. * Assisting and supporting the Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs. * Keeping knowledge of company asset safety procedures, and documenting claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not obtained), order errors or broken goods related to Rx capsules. * May assist the pharmacist in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of medical services, arenaflex healthcare clinics, and external vendors. * Assists the Pharmacy supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities. **Requirements** To be considered for this role, you must: * Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Have a strong foundation in pharmacy operations and a desire to grow your skills in data entry. * Preferably have six months of experience in a retail environment. * Preferably have previous work experience with arenaflex. * Possess strong math skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * Possess strong computer skills. * Possess knowledge of store inventory management. * Preferably be certified as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) or be willing to pursue certification. **Education and Personal Development** As an employee of arenaflex, you will have access to a range of education and personal development opportunities, including: * Earning and maintaining PTCB certification through the arenaflex Pharmacy Technician training program and/or state required certification/registration. * Attending training and completing PPLs as assigned by manager and acquiring continuing education credits. * Maintaining expertise and skills in healthcare and pharmacy, including staying up-to-date on the latest information and developments. * Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE). **How to Apply** If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and working in a dynamic, patient-centric environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
