As a global workforce, we thrive on continuous improvement, embracing the differences among us, and encouraging each other to strive for excellence.About the Role As a part of the ROI (Release of Information) team at blithequark, the Medical Records Data Entry Specialist will primarily be responsible for performing document preparation tasks, including verifying information, preparing correspondence with insurance agents, beneficiaries, attorneys, patients, and hospital staff. This role requires strong organizational and clerical skills, with attention to detail being a must for success. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical data entry, proficiency in bolthires Office, and familiarity with medical terminology.Key Responsibilities Communicate with insurance agents and beneficiaries to resolve claims and provide information Prepare claim forms and related documentation for audits and/or mail out Review claim submissions and verify the information for accuracy and completeness Record and maintain policies and claims information in database systems Comply with federal, state, and company regulation policies to ensure adherence to industry standards Perform clerical tasks as required, including sorting and preparing hard copy records for scanning and document preparation Scan hard copy files to electronic images, ensuring a quality image and following production procedures Maintain record order and sequence, with the ability to remove bolthires, sort, file, and box records Essential Qualifications 1+ year of medical data entry experience, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts 1+ years of medical front desk experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with bolthires Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications Experience with claims processing and medical records management Knowledge of federal, state, and company regulation policies related to medical records and claims processing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide solutions Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.As a Medical Records Data Entry Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in medical data entry, claims processing, and medical records management.
