Job Summary The Retail Customer Service Associate at blithequark is a critical role that requires a unique blend of customer service, technical, and operational skills. As a Store Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to our customers, utilizing your knowledge of our products and services to meet their individual needs. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that every interaction with blithequark is a positive one. In addition to your customer-facing responsibilities, you will also be responsible for operating and maintaining a wide range of equipment, managing the production queue, and completing assigned tasks based on priority. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service, utilizing consultative skills to understand customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions Provide expert knowledge of blithequark's products and services, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping Operate and maintain a wide range of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment Manage the production queue, ensuring that all orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard Provide pricing and product information to customers, and recommend appropriate blithequark products and services Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education 6+ months of specialized experience in a customer-facing role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods Ability to move and lift 55 pounds Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a retail environment Knowledge of print, signs & graphics, and shipping products and services Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and financial transactions Ability to work with minimal supervision Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
