Ageas has been re-certified as Top Employer in 2025Ageas ReAgeas Re is organized as a Business Unit within ageas SA/NV, the Group holding, on whose balance sheet it underwrites third-party and intra-group reinsurance under the trade name Ageas ReYour function• Process and validate reinsurance data received from ceding companies and brokers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.• Manage and reconcile technical accounts in SAP FS-RI, including premium and claims allocations. • Calculate retrocession premiums and related technical accounts in line with the contractual terms, and assist in preparing relevant documentation such as statement of accounts. • Arrange payments, monitor outstanding balances, and resolve discrepancies with business partners. • Effectively collect reinsurance recoveries. • Support monthly and quarterly financial closing activities. • Maintain regular contact with clients, providing clarification and follow-up on accounts, conditions, and payments with a solution-oriented approach.• Collaborate with Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants, presenting reinsurance technical accounting matters clearly and effectively. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, projects, and working groups. Your profile• Solid understanding of (re) insurance principles and technical accounting practices. • Minimum 5 years of experience in a reinsurance company, insurance company, or broker environment. • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP FS-RI is a strong plus.• High accuracy in working with figures, a critical mindset to validate data, and technical mindset with a drive to improve processes and workflows. • Strong interpersonal skills, intercultural competence, and a team-oriented attitude. • Full professional proficiency in English. Spanish and/or German is a plus.
