Financial Risk and Compliance Manager /Remote/

In this impactful role, you will drive the organization’s financial compliance framework and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Accountabilities • Be responsible for all FCA reporting and ensure submissions are accurate and submitted on time. • Liaise with Acquirers, Suppliers, and 3rd parties to ensure Financial Compliance is incorporated throughout the whole ecosystem. • Provide Audit Reports to Acquirers as requested. • Take ownership of new challenges arising in the Financial compliance programme on a project basis. • Implement processes that facilitate communication among teams to meet new regulatory requirements. • Enhance the controls library and document regulatory risk assessment processes. • Implement and embed the regulatory compliance Risk Framework and Standards. • Manage and coordinate meaningful risk assessments to educate the organization. • Communicate solutions to address control gaps and improve processes. • Design and maintain management information that aids leadership decision-making. • Promote a healthy compliance culture throughout the organization. • Adapt focus on compliance issues based on growth plans and compliance needs. Requirements • Background in financial regulation, compliance, or legal with knowledge of FCA regulations. • Experience in Financial Regulation Advisory, Risk, or Governance roles. • Diligent and methodical, with a focus on efficiency improvements. • Ability to translate financial compliance benefits into intuitive propositions. • Proficient in breaking down complex problems and prioritizing using data. • Skilled in building rapport and putting stakeholders at ease. • Curious and impactful, with a desire to make a difference. • Demonstrable influence on projects and ability to secure buy-in for execution. • Capability to thrive in dynamic and unstructured environments. • Analytical mindset with insights to reduce risk. • Proactive and ownership-driven approach to task completion.
