Fractional Head of TalentOverviewWe are a rapidly growing, vibrant dental practice just outside of the Greater Toronto area seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fractional Head of Talent to on a contract basis. Your primary focus will be the end-to-end sourcing and pre-screening of an exceptional Dental Associate licensed to practice in Ontario, Canada. This is a critical role essential for our practice's expansion and commitment to clinical excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active Dental Associate candidates within Ontario (e.g., direct outreach, professional networks, dental-specific job boards, social media).Candidate Engagement: Craft compelling outreach messages to engage top-tier Associates and effectively represent our practice's unique value proposition. Pre-Screening & Qualification: Conduct initial, in-depth screening interviews to assess candidates on:Clinical experience and specialties (e.g., general, restorative, etc.)Licensure status and good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). Cultural fit, communication skills, and alignment with our patient-centric values.Candidate Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized pipeline, providing regular updates and detailed candidate reports to the Practice Owner and Business Manager. Process Refinement: Advise on best practices for interview processes. Must-Have Skills & ExperienceProven Recruitment Success: Demonstrated track record of successfully sourcing and placing specialized healthcare professionals, ideally Dentists. Healthcare Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of the dental recruitment landscape, including professional terminology.Excellent Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for professional outreach and screening interviews. Remote/Fractional Work Ethic: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and asynchronously. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & MetricsThis role will be evaluated based on the delivery of a high-quality, actionable candidate pipeline. 5-8 Qualified Leads Delivered (monthly)Number of RCDSO-licensed Associates who pass the initial screen and are recommended for a final interview with the Practice Owner.15%+ Pipeline Response RatePercentage of sourced candidates who respond positively to outreach (indicating effective messaging/sourcing). 4 weeks Time-to-ShortlistTime from contract start to delivering the first 3-4 highly qualified, RCDSO-licensed candidates for final interview consideration. 4/5 Avg. Candidate Quality ScoreBased on feedback from the Practice Owner after final interviews, assessing clinical fit and cultural alignment. Engagement DetailsContract Type: Fractional/Independent Contractor (Upwork)Estimated Hours/Week: 10 hours per weekDuration: Ongoing/3-Month Initial Contract (with potential for extension)Location:Remote (Must be familiar with the Canadian/Ontario market)Compensation Structure:Fixed Monthly Retainer: $1,000 USD (Paid monthly for dedicated sourcing and pipeline development time).Success Bonus: $1,000 USD (Paid upon the successful hiring of a Dental Associate who remains employed with the practice beyond the initial 90-day probationary period).
