Position: Freelance Job: Freelance Math/Science Tutor - Secondary Level (Remote) We are seeking an expert Freelance Math & Science Tutor to support secondary school students (Grades 6–12). In this role, you will simplify complex academic concepts and help students improve their grades and confidence. This is a 100% remote, freelance position that offers the flexibility to teach from anywhere while making a direct impact on student success. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct one‑on‑one or small group tutoring sessions via video conference. • Teach core subjects including Algebra, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. • Create customized lesson plans tailored to individual student learning gaps. • Assist students with homework, lab reports, and exam preparation. • Provide regular progress updates and feedback to parents or guardians. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Science, or Education (Stem background). • Experience: 2+ years of teaching or tutoring experience at the Secondary level. • Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of middle and high school curricula (e.g., Common Core, IB, or GCSE). • Communication: Exceptional ability to explain difficult topics in simple, easy‑to‑understand English. Technical Requirements: • Hardware: A laptop or PC with a reliable webcam and a clear microphone. • Tools: Proficiency in digital whiteboards (Miro, Bitpaper) and Zoom/Google Meet. • Instructional Tools: Experience using digital pens or drawing tablets for solving equations on-screen is a plus. • Internet: Stable high‑speed connection for uninterrupted video teaching.
