INTERVIEW: VIDEOVISA: USC Only please.. The position is mostly remote, ideally they want the candidate to go on-site 1 or 2 times a week if possible. They want a local candidate that can go on-site once a while. Job Description• React – MUST• Python – MUST• Django – MUST• DB – mostly on Postgres. Some SQL• Comfortable building internal tools, dashboards, and data-driven applications• Able to integrate with hardware, APIs, databases, drivers, and authentication systems (Okta)• Experienced in improving code quality, refactoring, and establishing bolthires/CD pipelines• Integrate various lab equipment and systems to enable seamless data communication (DAQ devices, PLCs, power supplies, etc.).• Build and maintain internal tools that improve lab connectivity, visibility, and workflow across Jira, Box, shared computers, chambers, and test stands. • Professionalize and enhance existing internal applications (DataHub, DataLab, DataChamber, DataView, DataBattMan). • Implement Okta SSO integration and align tools with IT authentication standards. • Perform general code cleanup, refactoring, and reducing redundancies in legacy code. • Establish a proper bolthires/CD pipeline and improve software release/update processes.• Add new features and evolve tools based on team needs and lab operations.
