Job Category: Financial servicesJob Type: ContractJob Location: RemoteJob Description• Work closely with the private credit administration leadership team to support the development and refinement of departmental procedures. • Assist in the design and implementation of credit accounting workflows including standardizing reconciliation items such as cash reconciliation, income reconciliation, and related schedules. • Support private credit client deliverables by coordinating with internal teams and helping ensure deadlines are met.• Assist in overseeing the maintenance of private credit client general ledgers and related accounting records, acting on behalf of the fund administration team when needed. • Prepare and review NAV calculations, audited and unaudited financial statements, partner capital statements, management fee calculations, drawdowns, distributions, and supporting workpapers. • Respond to client inquiries on an ad hoc basis by providing timely, accurate, and technically sound accounting information. • Prepare ad hoc reports and perform targeted analysis to support business questions and provide insights to internal and client stakeholders.• Serve as a daily point of contact for assigned clients, supporting service plans, calendars, and reporting timelines, and helping maintain strong and professional client relationships. • Provide senior level support to the fund accounting team, stepping in to lead accounting processes or key deliverables on behalf of management when required. • Contribute subject matter expertise to process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and workflow automation efforts. Requirements• Experience in fund accounting or fund administration for both open end and closed end private credit funds.• Experience building, improving, or helping automate workflows that support private credit portfolio accounting. • Deep technical understanding of private credit accounting including fund structures such as master feeder and rated note feeders, and instruments such as BSL, middle market loans, lower middle market loans, mezzanine debt, and term loans. • Experience with the FIS HFPM platform is preferred. • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess accounting situations, develop solutions, and execute them effectively.• Strong knowledge of US GAAP as applied to investment company accounting. • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service with the ability to respond to and resolve issues efficiently. • University degree in Accounting or Business, preferably with a concentration in Accounting or another finance related field.
