As a Healthcare Data Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare providers, IT specialists, and business leaders, to identify trends, develop reports, and ensure data integrity across multiple sources.This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative healthcare analytics projects with real-world impact. Key Responsibilities• Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from multiple sources, including clinical, claims, and administrative systems. • Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and detailed reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. • Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement in healthcare operations.• Partner with business and clinical teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor outcomes against organizational goals. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across various databases and systems. • Support data-driven decision-making by providing meaningful insights and recommendations to leadership. • Participate in data validation, quality assurance checks, and process documentation. • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data regulations.• Continuously evaluate new data technologies and methodologies to enhance analytical efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and one or more data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc.). • Solid understanding of healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, member, or provider data). • Experience in data cleaning, validation, and statistical modeling using Python, R, or SAS.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. • Knowledge of healthcare terminologies such as ICD-10, CPT, and DRG codes. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment. • Hands-on experience in managing large datasets and building data pipelines.• Familiarity with healthcare reporting standards, performance measurement, and regulatory compliance (CMS, NCQA, etc.) is highly desirable. Working Hours• Flexible remote schedule aligned with U.S. business hours. • Occasional virtual meetings or project syncs as required by team operations. • Standard work week of 40 hours, with the possibility of additional hours during key reporting cycles.
