Role DescriptionThe Compliance Analyst ensures that EZCORP’s operations and procedures meet government and industry compliance standards. This role will monitor controls for internal compliance with regulations and company policies and communicate requirements to stakeholders and compliance leadership. This role performs various other duties such as data management, issue resolution, and documentation audits.• Responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of internal controls effectiveness. • Communicates issues identified with internal compliance related policies and guidelines to management and designated departments. Key Areas of Responsibility• Drive awareness of all internal compliance-related company policies and procedures to reinforce understanding and adherence across the organization. • Perform regular evaluations of internal controls to identify gaps, assess effectiveness, and support compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.• Conduct control testing and monitoring as assigned, ensuring any compliance-related concerns are identified and escalated timely to the appropriate stakeholders. • Review and assess compliance-related data to produce clear, actionable reports that support decision-making and regulatory adherence. • Provide day-to-day support to management to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and related policies. • Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant federal and state laws and regulations related to the pawn and firearms industries.• Oversee the intake of regulatory bulletins and reviews for compliance. • Supports Operations and compliance leadership by preparing reports, collecting and analyzing transactional activity, summarizing identified information and managing any required communication. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications• 3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience. • Knowledge of firearms industry and/or pawn business a plus. • High School diploma or GED, Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Consumer Lending compliance experience. • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to resolve situations with internal clients and regulators, while maintaining a professional presence. • Ability to work cross-functionally as a team player. • Ability to effectively deal with management as well as other business departments. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy; and time management and organizational skills.Benefits• Competitive pay. • Generous bonus potential from day one. • Great benefits.
