Role Description Gartner for CISOs (G4CISO) is an executive-level advisory service that delivers expert insights and guidance tailored to each client’s context and most critical information and cyber security initiatives. Global Executive Partners team specializes in Security and Risk Management. We equip security leaders with indispensable insights, advice and tools to achieve their mission-critical priorities today and build the successful security organizations of tomorrow. What you will do: • Manage a portfolio of 25 - 30+ clients, typically CISOs and Leaders of Cybersecurity, from global Fortune 1000 organizations and large high-tech industries. • Deliver value through regular briefings, a mix of on-site and virtual workshops, roundtables, webinars and by attending relevant Gartner events. • Use your knowledge and expertise to coach and mentor clients on critical initiatives and obstacles within the Security Risk Management space. • Collaborate closely with several internal Gartner teams including Sales teams, Analysts, Client Managers, and peers across other domains. • Maintain a high level of Executive presence, adaptability, and ability to build trust and deliver value. • Responsible for member retention and contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales. • Operate as an individual contributor managing your own calendar and other administrative tasks, delivering value to your client portfolio virtually with approximately 25% onsite support. Qualifications • 15+ years’ experience as an Executive in a Security Risk Management leader role such as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or Security Practice Group leader. • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or above preferred. • Extensive experience running security programs and/or practice areas. • Experience in executive level roles within consulting, sales or customer facing positions. • Modern technical skills and subject matter expertise in various areas including assessing business strategy and risk, developing security strategy and roadmaps, and building security teams. • Demonstrated organization Vendor Management experience. • Former consulting experience within a large firm highly desired but not required. Requirements • Experience in implementing key security solutions including SIEM, Identity & Access Management, threat and vulnerability management, forensics, endpoint security, network security, etc. • Experience in building successful Security Operations teams and processes. • Experience in building application security and product security programs and processes. • Ability to develop and implement security metrics and reporting mechanisms. • Experience in demonstrating the Business Value of Cyber to the organization. • Ability to create and deliver Board Presentations. • Practical Cloud Security implementation and expertise. • Knowledge of Gen AI as related to the organizational Security function.
