Home Health QA/Coder (remote FL or RCD state)

REGISTERED NURSE (RN), QUALITY ASSURANCE/CODING. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular clinical chart audits to ensure compliance with home health care standards, regulations, and best practices. • Monitor quality of care provided by nursing and other healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.• Support staff training and development, ensuring that clinical staff are up-to-date with current health care practices and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with clinical managers and leadership to develop strategies for improving patient outcomes, reducing hospital readmissions, and enhancing overall care quality. • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards such as CMS, JCAHO, and others. • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of quality assurance activities, audits, and performance metrics.Requirements • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Minimum of 3 Experience in Nursing of experience in home health care or a similar setting. • Experience with quality assurance, audit processes, or performance improvement in a healthcare setting preferred. • Ability/experience in home health coding and plan of care generation. • Knowledge of home health care regulations, including federal and state laws, and accreditation requirements. • Strong clinical assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate complex care needs and identify areas for improvement.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems. • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on clinical judgment and regulatory standards. • Quality Improvement or Home Health preferred.Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: From $25.00 per hour Work Location:Remote Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
