The public sector enabling capabilities organization (ECO) consists of six functions that supports Huron at the enterprise level: sales operations (SO), sales enablement (SE), government and policy relations, contracts management, engagement management and engagement assurance.As part of ECO, SO partners with sellers and business units to architect sales assets by reviewing, managing, and developing content for sales meetings or pursuits. The SO Manager supports an assigned portfolio(s) and leader(s) to drive growth and strategic sales initiatives. QualificationsThe Sales Operations Manager role leverages Huron expertise and public sector industry knowledge to drive growth and strategic sales initiatives for across portfolio(s) and agencies, and ECO assigned projects and programs.Oversees team activities and daily operations. Additionally, this role provides sales support to general sales requests and will support initiatives such as campaign management, lead generation, client outreach, relationship mapping, and support to general sales requests. Typical duties include the following:• Support public sector sales team with prospecting and above-the-funnel activities for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) that drive pursuit strategy, and ECO team activities/special projects• Remains current with government industry trends, especially within VA and is familiar with our vendor partner network• Manages and oversee public sector and enterprise initiatives, adhere to team policies, manage capacity and resourcing• Owns sales intake process by triaging assignments submitted; troubleshoots when capacity is limited to meet most pressing business needs• Coordinate broadly with internal groups on sales strategy and operational needs (e.g.Marketing, Growth Enablement Teams, Salesforce SMES, Operations, Staffing, Training)• Collaborate with portfolio leaders to drive better sales strategy and sales process efficiency; responsible for sales operations team support of assigned Portfolio Team(s)• Work with portfolio leaders to guide and collaborate with Marketing to craft and execute marketing materials for client outreach and/or communities of interest• Support reviewing and contributing to marketing materials and outreach content• Identify and provide training opportunities for sellers and leadership team• Oversee customized content needs (pitch decks, placemats, Salesforce Engage outreach content) for public sector market; ensure superior customer service for internal and external customers• Facilitate Salesforce compliance through account, vendor partner, opportunities, and contact information updates in Salesforce• Uses software solutions used to track market activity such as GovWin, Sam.govQUALIFICATIONS:A successful candidate will be able to manage a variety of tasks with deadlines and people.This role will support the public sector sales team by monitoring, and assisting with sales process compliance, and working with sales leaders to maximize sales efforts, results and contribute to strategic development. Technical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) and Background• Bachelor’s Degree required• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant business experience, public sector experience preferred• Public Sector and professional services background or experience preferred• Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous US – note this in a non-billable role with limited travel required.• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to coordinate internal staff, resources, and tasks• Strong project manager with ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines and with a focus on high quality and attention to detail• Understands Huron’s core services and capabilities• Ability to work independently and collaboratively• Resourceful nature and excellent problem-solving capabilities• Good communication (oral, written), presentation and interpersonal skills• Positive attitude• Self-starter with high tolerance for ambiguity• Clear fit with (and champion of) firm culture and values• Committed to the development of a high performing team• Proficient in CRM such as Salesforce, Seismic, Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel skillsThe estimated base salary range for this job is $100,000- $150,000.The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $115,000 – $187,500.The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
